Tesla Semi Deployment Triples Einride’s Capacity As 500 Units Join Amazon Freight Push

Einride A (NASDAQ:ENRD) shares are up on Tuesday as the company announced plans to deploy 500 Tesla Semis on its Saga AI platform for Amazon and other customers.

This strategic move aims to convert signed contracts into revenue-generating freight capacity, significantly expanding Einride’s operational capabilities.

The deployments will triple Einride’s freight capacity, marking a pivotal moment for the company.

This initiative is expected to bolster its revenue-generating capabilities as it serves major clients like Amazon.

Earnings Snapshot

In a separate release today, the company reported first-half 2026 results. Constant-currency revenue rose 26% year over year (Y/Y) to $27 million, driven by growth from existing customers and new deployments.

The second-half revenue is expected at $39 million-$42 million, nearly twice the first-half growth rate, supported by Amazon ramp-ups and initial deployments of Tesla Semis.

The company expects to exit December 2026 at an $85 million-$95 million annualized revenue run rate, up more than 80% Y/Y on a constant-currency basis, as previously signed contracts convert to revenue.

Einride targets cash-flow breakeven in the second half 2028 with a 1,500-2,000 vehicle fleet and plans to triple its fleet using third-party asset-backed debt, avoiding equity dilution. FaaS is expected to remain the main near-term growth driver, while Einride Driver and Saga AI licensing revenue scales gradually.
