Microsoft Could Swing By $184 Billion After Earnings

Earnings are set to hit the tape in a tight window on Wednesday and options markets are already sketching out how much volatility traders expect once results and guidance land, according to Benzinga Pro.

The marquee name on this Benzinga-selected list is Microsoft, but the biggest implied move is saved for the final section as the countdown runs from the calmest setup to the most volatile.

8. Microsoft | Mkt Cap: $3.9T | Implied Move: 4.69%

Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) reports third quarter of 2027 results after the closing bell. Wall Street is looking for $4.72 in earnings per share on $90.68 billion in revenue, compared with $4.13 per share on $77.67 billion a year ago.

Benzinga Pro data show options are pricing in a 4.69% move around the print. With Microsoft at $3.93 trillion in market value, that’s $184 billion of market value at stake even with the narrowest implied move on this watchlist.

Microsoft develops and licenses consumer and enterprise software, anchored by Windows and Office, and the quarter tends to matter as investors parse demand signals across enterprise spending. The stock carries a Buy consensus rating; the stock is trading below the 180-day average analyst price forecast. In October, Oppenheimer, Truist Securities, and Scotiabank raised their price forecast.

Microsoft has rallied in 2026, up 12.6% year-to-date and trading 21.1% above the 200-day moving average since the 50-day moving average crossed above the 200-day in August. The shares sit about 51% above the 52-week low of $349.20.

7. Automatic Data Processing | Mkt Cap: $119B | Implied Move: 5.09%

Automatic Data Processing (NASDAQ:ADP) reports first quarter of 2027 results before the opening bell. Consensus expectations call for $2.77 in earnings per share on $5.48 billion in revenue, versus $2.49 on $5.17 billion in the prior-year period.

According to Benzinga Pro, the options market is implying a 5.09% move. For a company with a $119 billion market cap, that translates to about $6.05 billion of market value at stake as investors handicap any shift in payroll and HR demand trends.

Automatic Data Processing runs a global, cloud-based human capital management platform spanning payroll, compliance, benefits administration and retirement services, making its report a read-through on employment and client retention. The stock carries a Hold consensus rating; the share price sits above the 180-day average analyst price forecast. In October, Guggenheim reiterated its Buy rating and raised its price forecast.

Automatic Data Processing has rallied in 2026, up 19.1% year-to-date, trading 25.2% above the 200-day moving average since the 50-day moving average crossed above the 200-day in August. The stock is within 2.9% of the 52-week high of $309.40.

6. Alphabet | Mkt Cap: $3.8T | Implied Move: 5.25%

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) reports third quarter of 2026 results after the closing bell. The Street is modeling $3.02 in earnings per share on $128.20 billion in revenue, up from $2.87 on $102.35 billion a year ago.

Benzinga Pro data show options are pricing in a 5.25% move. With Alphabet valued at $3.85 trillion, that implies roughly $202 billion of market value at stake as investors weigh advertising momentum and any incremental signals from the broader Google ecosystem.

Alphabet is the holding company for Google, and it derives slightly less than 90% of revenue from Google services, with the vast majority tied to advertising sales. The stock carries a Buy consensus rating; the 180-day average analyst price forecast sits well above where the stock trades. In October, JP Morgan, UBS, and TD Cowen raised their price forecasts.

Alphabet has pulled back in 2026, down 0.4% year-to-date, and it’s trading 7.2% below the 200-day moving average after the 50-day moving average crossed below the 200-day in October. The shares sit about 22% below the 52-week high of $404.47.

5. T-Mobile | Mkt Cap: $158B | Implied Move: 5.63%

T-Mobile US, Inc. (NASDAQ:TMUS) reports third quarter of 2026 results after the closing bell. Analysts expect $2.91 in earnings per share on $23.14 billion in revenue, compared with $2.59 on $21.96 billion in the year-ago quarter.

According to Benzinga Pro, options are implying a 5.63% move, putting about $8.87 billion of market value at stake for the $158 billion wireless carrier. That’s a meaningful volatility setup for a business where subscriber trends and profitability narratives can swing quickly on guidance.

T-Mobile US was built through Deutsche Telekom’s T-Mobile USA merger with MetroPCS and the later Sprint combination, creating the second-largest wireless carrier in the U.S. The stock carries a Buy consensus rating; shares trade well below the 180-day average analyst price forecast. In October, Raymond James upgraded the stock to Outperform, while Scotiabank reiterated its Sector Outperform rating and cut its price forecast.

T-Mobile US has pulled back in 2026, down 26.4% year-to-date and trading 21.8% below the 200-day moving average. The stock is within 0.5% of the 52-week low of $146.32.

4. GE Vernova | Mkt Cap: $229B | Implied Move: 7.17%

GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:GEV) reports third quarter of 2026 results before the opening bell. Wall Street is calling for $3.97 in earnings per share on $11.99 billion in revenue, versus $1.64 on $9.97 billion a year earlier.

Benzinga Pro data show the options market is implying a 7.17% move. For GE Vernova’s $229 billion market cap, that’s about $16.4 billion of market value at stake as investors look for updates across power, wind and electrification.

GE Vernova is a global electric-power player with products and services that generate, transfer, convert and store electricity, spanning three segments: power, wind and electrification. The stock carries a Buy consensus rating; the stock is trading well below the 180-day average analyst price forecast. In October, Susquehanna and JP Morgan cut their price forecasts, while Guggenheim reiterated its Buy rating.

GE Vernova has rallied in 2026, up 25.8% year-to-date, but it’s trading 8.6% below the 200-day moving average. The shares sit about 28% below the 52-week high of $1195.94.

3. KLA | Mkt Cap: $195B | Implied Move: 8.29%

KLA Corp. (NASDAQ:KLAC) reports first quarter of 2027 results after the closing bell. Consensus estimates call for $1.18 in earnings per share on $4.04 billion in revenue, compared with 88 cents on $3.21 billion in the prior-year quarter.

According to Benzinga Pro, options are pricing in an 8.29% move, putting about $16.1 billion of market value at stake for the $195 billion semiconductor equipment name. That implied swing underscores how sensitive the setup can be to wafer-fab spending signals and forward commentary.

KLA is one of the largest wafer fabrication equipment manufacturers in the world, and its results often get read as a checkpoint on chipmaking investment cycles. The stock carries a Buy consensus rating; the share price sits well below the 180-day average analyst price forecast. In October, Morgan Stanley reiterated its Overweight rating and cut its price forecast.

KLA has rallied in 2026, up 17.1% year-to-date, yet it’s trading 18.0% below the 200-day moving average after the 50-day moving average crossed below the 200-day in October. The shares sit about 52% below the 52-week high of $307.37.

2. Servicenow | Mkt Cap: $161B | Implied Move: 8.74%

Servicenow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW) reports third quarter of 2026 results after the closing bell. The Street is looking for $1.02 in earnings per share on $4.09 billion in revenue, up from 96 cents on $3.41 billion a year ago.

Benzinga Pro data show options are implying an 8.74% move, which equates to about $14.1 billion of market value at stake for Servicenow’s $161 billion capitalization. That’s a sizable volatility bet for a software name where subscription momentum and enterprise IT budgets can drive sharp post-earnings repricing.

Servicenow sells SaaS software that helps enterprises structure and automate business processes, with a core focus on IT workflows. The stock carries a Buy consensus rating; the 180-day average analyst price forecast is close to where the stock trades. In October, Cantor Fitzgerald, Guggenheim, and Truist Securities raised their price forecast.

Servicenow has rallied in 2026, up 7.3% year-to-date and trading 35.4% above the 200-day moving average since the 50-day moving average crossed above the 200-day in September. The shares sit about 19% below the 52-week high of $192.97.

1. Fortinet | Mkt Cap: $134B | Implied Move: 10.15%

Fortinet, Inc. (NASDAQ:FTNT) reports third quarter of 2026 results after the closing bell. Analysts expect 86 cents in earnings per share on $2.06 billion in revenue, compared with 74 cents on $1.73 billion in the year-ago quarter.

According to Benzinga Pro, the options market is implying a 10.15% move — the widest on this Benzinga-selected list — with about $13.6 billion of market value at stake. That elevated implied move fits a cybersecurity tape where guidance and billings commentary can matter as much as the quarter itself.

Fortinet is a platform-based cybersecurity vendor spanning network security, cloud security, zero-trust access and security operations, with a majority of revenue coming from subscriptions and support. The stock carries a Hold consensus rating; shares trade above the 180-day average analyst price forecast. In October, JP Morgan, Truist Securities, and Mizuho raised their price forecast.

Fortinet has surged in 2026, up 135.4% year-to-date and trading 44.0% above the 200-day moving average. The shares sit about 148% above the 52-week low of $73.55.
