Telehealth Giant Hims & Hers Partners with Eli Lilly for Direct Weight Loss Drug Delivery

On Friday, Eli Lilly And Co. (NYSE:LLY) and Hims & Hers Health Inc. (NYSE:HIMS) announced a collaboration to broaden patient access to obesity medications Zepbound and Foundayo through the digital health platform.

Under the new agreement, qualifying individuals who secure a prescription from a licensed health care clinician on the Hims & Hers telehealth network can obtain the therapies at standard self-pay rates without ever departing the platform.

Hims & Hers is scheduled to report its third-quarter earnings on Monday. Analysts estimate earnings of six cents per share and sales of $892.89 million, according to Benzinga Pro data.

Eli Lilly reported that in third-quarter U.S. Zepbound revenue jumped 48% to $5.3 billion, primarily driven by strong demand, partially offset by lower realized prices. Foundayo sales were $184 million.

Expanding Direct Telehealth Access to Weight Management

The partnership unites Lilly’s portfolio of obesity treatments with the extensive consumer platform at Hims & Hers.

Patients can easily complete a medical consultation, obtain a prescription whenever a clinician deems it medically suitable, and receive FDA-approved Lilly therapies delivered directly to their doorstep in a streamlined flow.

Self-pay pricing for the treatments begins at $149 per month for Foundayo, Lilly’s daily oral medication, while Zepbound starts at $299 per month.

Adults dealing with obesity increasingly seek medical care and prescription therapies through telehealth services.

This rising demand coincides with the availability of a broader selection of FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, including oral options.

By aligning with Hims & Hers, Lilly broadens its reach across one of the sector’s largest telehealth platforms.

Comprehensive Care and Commitment to Clinical Integrity

Hims & Hers guides individuals across their complete wellness process, managing initial consultations, clinical interventions, and routine follow-up care.

Its digital infrastructure equips clinicians with tools for patient outreach, ongoing monitoring, and comprehensive care regimens.

Hims & Hers has never distributed compounded versions of Lilly’s GLP-1 drugs and pledged to avoid them moving forward.

HIMS, LLY Price Action: Hims & Hers Health shares were up 5.48% at $25.62, and Eli Lilly is flat at $1,365.82 at the time of publication on Friday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
