U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow Jones falling around 0.1% on Tuesday.
Shares of Pentair PLC (NYSE:PNR) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 sales guidance above estimates.
Pentair posted adjusted earnings of $1.18 per share, beating market estimates of $1.08 per share. The company’s sales came in at $976.400 million, versus expectations of $963.608 million.
Pentair shares gained 9.8% to $60.68 on Tuesday.
