SEI Taps ICE to Handle More ETF Orders With Less Complexity

SEI Investments Co. (NASDAQ:SEIC) said Wednesday it agreed to integrate Intercontinental Exchange Inc.’s (NYSE:ICE) ETF Hub into its exchange-traded product order management services.

The integration aims to streamline the creation and redemption of exchange-traded products, or ETPs. These transactions allow authorized participants to add or remove shares from circulation.

SEI Expands ETF Order Management

ICE ETF Hub provides standardized connectivity and automated order management across multiple asset classes. SEI expects the platform to improve processing efficiency and reliability while supporting growth in its ETP business.

Sean Lawlor, head of public markets for SEI’s Investment Managers business, said the integration would help the company handle rising assets, higher trading volumes and changing industry standards. It would also support continued investment in client services and new capabilities.
