U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 400 points on Wednesday.
Shares of Caleres Inc (NYSE:CAL) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 EPS guidance.
Caleres reported quarterly earnings of 47 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 37 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $695.454 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $686.732 million.
Caleres shares jumped 14.4% to $13.76 on Wednesday.

- Oddity Tech Ltd (NASDAQ:ODD) gained 16.7% to $15.20 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and issued third-quarter sales guidance above estimates. Also, the company issued FY26 sales guidance above estimates.
- Flotek Industries Inc (NYSE:FTK) surged 12.4% to $27.39 after the company raised its 2026 guidance.
- Academy Sports and Outdoors Inc (NASDAQ:ASO) jumped 11.7% to $49.92 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter adjusted EPS results and raised its FY26 adjusted EPS guidance above estimates.
- Fastly Inc (NASDAQ:FSLY) rose 10.9% to $23.84.
- Ambarella Inc (NASDAQ:AMBA) gained 10.7% to $70.30.

- Chime Financial Inc (NASDAQ:CHYM) rose 6.8% to $34.52 after the company announced it expects a year-over-year increase in its third-quarter and fiscal-year 2026 revenue guidance. The company will acquire Stride Bank.
