Surgery Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ:SGRY) stock is trading higher on Friday as the company announced a significant transaction involving the sale of its ownership interests in Idaho Falls facilities to Intermountain Health.
Surgery Partners Sells Idaho Falls Facilities To Intermountain
The surgical services provider is set to sell its ownership interests in Mountain View Hospital and Idaho Falls Community Hospital to Intermountain Health for approximately $795 million, with the total valuation of the facilities at about $1.15 billion.
“For Surgery Partners, assuming physician partner approval, this transaction represents the largest step forward in our portfolio optimization strategy to date, simplifying our go-forward operations, and positioning us to accelerate momentum in the rapidly growing, high-value ambulatory surgery center space,” said Eric Evans, CEO of Surgery Partners.
The company reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 revenues to be between $3.35 billion and $3.45 billion compared to the consensus of $3.408 billion, and adjusted EBITDA of at least $530 million.
