U.S. stock futures were lower this morning, with the Nasdaq futures falling around 1% on Wednesday.
Shares of Super Micro Computer Inc (NASDAQ:SMCI) fell sharply in pre-market trading after the company announced a proposed offering to fund AI orders.
Super Micro announced a series of offerings expected to generate gross proceeds of $7 billion to fund the purchase of components to fulfil AI server orders that the company received in “recent weeks.”
Super Micro Computer shares dipped 8.6% to $37.14 in pre-market trading.
