U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining over 300 points on Tuesday.
Shares of J.M. Smucker Co (NYSE:SJM) rose during Tuesday’s session after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results and issued FY27 sales guidance above estimates. Also, the company issued FY27 adjusted EPS guidance with its midpoint above estimates.
JM Smucker reported quarterly earnings of $2.77 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.64 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $2.268 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.260 billion.
Smucker shares jumped 11% to $112.99 on Tuesday.

- Brady Corp (NYSE:BRC) gained 8.1% to $81.38. Sidoti & Co. analyst Steve Ferazani upgraded Brady from Neutral to Buy and announced a $103 price target.
