Quantinuum Stock Surges After Beating Q3 Expectations

Quantinuum Inc. (NASDAQ:QNT) shares are exploding Friday after reporting third-quarter results that beat analyst estimates and raising its 2026 revenue guidance above expectations.

Quantinuum Stock Rises After Earnings Beat and Updated Outlook

Quantinuum shares are climbing after the quantum computing company beat Wall Street’s forecasts for the third quarter. Sales of $9.05 million cleared the $8.05 million estimate by 12.45% and jumped 233% from $2.7 million a year ago. The adjusted loss of 29 cents a share came in under the 36-cent loss analysts predicted.

The revenue forecast moved higher too. Analysts had estimated $30.12 million for 2026, but Quantinuum now expects $31 million up to $34 million, replacing a $28 million to $32 million range. The $32.5 million midpoint lands about 8% above the estimate.

At quarter-end, Quantinuum held $1.94 billion in cash. Its adjusted EBITDA loss widened to $80 million from $45 million, while adjusted gross margin climbed 8.53 percentage points to 74.6%.

CEO Rajeeb Hazra credited the quarter’s momentum, saying it gives Quantinuum “more confidence than ever in the opportunity in front of us.” Hazra pointed to the company’s lead in fault tolerance, a bigger customer base and new routes to market.

Cantor Keeps Overweight On Quantinuum but Cuts Target

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Troy Jensen stayed at Overweight but trimmed the price target from $90 down to $55. Valuation multiples have shrunk during a pullback across tech stocks and quantum shares, Jensen said, and the new target equals 48 times 2028 sales.

Jensen wrote that Quantinuum envisions “quantum computing as the foundational layer” of a hybrid computing world that also includes CPUs and GPUs.

Jensen said the company built its products for that world, bundling machines, connecting software and finished applications. As its hardware nears quantum advantage, Jensen said, real-world uses should multiply, adoption should build and the ecosystem should grow.

Quantinuum also listed business wins. The biggest cloud contract in its history, signed with a global financial institution, headlined the quarter, along with two straight fault-tolerance records, a hyperscaler partnership and an Oracle beta program.
