Shares of Quantumscape Corp (NASDAQ:QS) rose sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported a narrower-than-expected quarterly loss and announced plans for a new production line targeting demand for solid-state batteries across sectors such as AI data centers, aerospace and defense.
QuantumScape reported quarterly losses of 14 cents per share, which beat the analyst estimate for losses of 17 cents, per Benzinga Pro data.
