Why Is Reborn Coffee Stock Gaining Friday?

Reborn Coffee Inc. (NASDAQ:REBN) stock is trading higher Friday after the company signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Visvita to expand its global franchise supply chain.

Reborn Coffee said Visvita brings an established beverage supplier network and logistics infrastructure across the U.S. and Mexico.

The companies plan to combine Reborn Coffee’s brand and roasting capabilities with Visvita’s network. The partnership is expected to support franchise expansion and the launch of a co-branded ready-to-drink beverage line.

However, the MOU is nonbinding, and the companies have not yet negotiated definitive agreements. The companies also plan to discuss potential strategic investment arrangements.

Global Franchise Expansion

Reborn Coffee expects to use Visvita’s production and logistics infrastructure to support store growth in North America and other international markets.

The companies also plan to expand franchise supply and product distribution across Mexico and other Latin American markets. Visvita’s existing distribution footprint and local partner network are expected to support the push.

Co-Branded RTD Beverage Line

Reborn Coffee and Visvita also plan to launch a co-branded “Visvita Reborn” ready-to-drink beverage line in the U.S.

The companies expect to target independent markets, large retailers, and online distribution channels.

As part of the partnership, Visvita CEO Michael Aminpour and Director Daniel Aminpour were appointed head sales advisory leads. They will oversee the franchise expansion and RTD rollout.

“Visvita provides us distribution and production infrastructure that would otherwise take years and significant capital for us to build independently,” Reborn Coffee CEO Jung Jae Lim said.

Lim said the company’s immediate focus is converting the framework into definitive agreements and measurable sales volume.
