U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow Jones index falling around 150 points on Friday.
Shares of Mistras Group Inc (NYSE:MG) rose sharply during Friday’s session after the company agreed to be acquired by affiliates of H.I.G. Capital in an all-cash transaction.
Under the terms of the deal, MG’s stockholders will receive $20.35 a share in cash for each share of common stock they own.
Mistras Group shares jumped 5.7% to $20.97 on Friday.

- American Bitcoin Corp (NASDAQ:ABTC) gained 8.7% to $9.60.
- Eightco Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:ORBS) gained 8% to $0.98.
- Securitize Corp (NYSE:SECZ) rose 7.8% to $9.64. StoneX analyst Mark Palmer maintained Securitize with a Buy and raised the price target from $10 to $12.
- Hyperliquid Strategies Inc (NASDAQ:PURR) shares surged 7.2% to $13.76 as traders react to the SEC’s approval of innovation relief tied to tokenized U.S. stock trading on public blockchains.
- Alamar Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:ALMR) surged 6.8% to $34.20.
- ChipMOS Technologies Inc – ADR (NASDAQ:IMOS) shares jumped 6.6% to $58.71.
- Strategy Inc (NASDAQ:MSTR) shares rose 6.6% to $140.99 as crypto-linked stocks gained following new regulatory developments. The Securities and Exchange Commission announced a five-year exemption tied to tokenized stock trading, according to Benzinga Pro.
- Gemini Space Station Inc (NASDAQ:GEMI) shares climbed 6.6% to $4.72.
- Coherent Corp (NYSE:COHR) rose 5.5% to $312.39.
- Galaxy Digital Inc (NASDAQ:GLXY) gained 4.8% to $23.36.
- Bullish (NYSE:BLSH) rose 4.5% to $36.50.
- Lumentum Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:LITE) gained 4.2% to $931.01.
