Lucid Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:LCID) shares are trading higher by about 10% on Thursday.
The company disclosed a strategic partnership with European shared mobility platform Bolt to develop and deploy SAE Level 4 autonomous mobility services across Europe.
Lucid And Bolt Partner On Autonomous Vehicle Fleet In Europe
Using vehicles based on Lucid’s upcoming Midsize platform, Bolt plans to deploy at least 25,000 fully autonomous vehicles across multiple European cities and countries, supporting its goal of 100,000 autonomous vehicles on its platform by 2035.
The vehicles are expected to use NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) Hyperion, a production-ready autonomous vehicle architecture combining high-performance computing and a standardized sensor suite.
Lucid Technologies will lead the partnership for Lucid, bringing together its AI, ADAS, autonomy and digital capabilities.
Bolt Autonomous Driving Solutions will oversee vehicle requirements, software, safety, rider experience, fleet infrastructure, operating systems and city partnerships, with plans to own and operate the fleet.
The companies will also work with technology partners, regulators and policymakers to support the safe and scalable rollout of autonomous mobility services across Europe.

LCID Technical Outlook: Trend Still Bearish, Momentum Improving
Even after Thursday’s pop, LCID is still in a longer-term downtrend: it’s trading 5.8% below the $4.70 20-day SMA, 24.7% below the $5.87 50-day SMA, and 45.6% below the $8.13 200-day SMA. The bearish structure is reinforced by the 20-day SMA sitting below the 50-day SMA, and the 50-day SMA sitting below the 200-day SMA.
Momentum is the more interesting part of the setup right now: MACD is above its signal line and the histogram is positive, which points to improving upside pressure versus the prior downswing. In plain English, when MACD is above its signal line, it suggests sellers are losing control even if price hasn’t reclaimed key longer-term averages yet.
- Key Resistance: $4.70 — a direct test of the 20-day SMA area that the stock is still trading below
- Key Support: $4.45 — the current price zone, which often acts as a near-term “line in the sand” after a sharp intraday move
