U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 400 points on Friday.
Shares of Frequency Electronics Inc (NASDAQ:FEIM) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results.
Earnings per share of $0.41 topped analyst estimates of $0.15 by 173.3%. For the quarter, Frequency Electronics’ revenue was $23.45 million, beating estimates of $17.85 million by 31.4%.
Frequency Electronics shares jumped 30.7% to $81.13 on Friday.

- Dell Technologies Inc (NYSE:DELL) rose 11.3% to $563.61. RBC Capital analyst David Paige initiated coverage on Dell with an Outperform rating and announced a price target of $640.
- Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co (NYSE:HPE) gained 10.7% to $61.13.
- HP Inc (NYSE:HPQ) rose 9.5% to $35.87 after RBC Capital initiated coverage on the stock with a Sector Perform rating and announced a $33 price target.
- Hut 8 Corp (NASDAQ:HUT) gained 8.9% to $98.67.
- Skyworks Solutions Inc (NASDAQ:SWKS) rose 8.6% to $91.27.
- Celestica Inc (NYSE:CLS) gained 8.4% to $352.53. Celestica named Todd Ankenmann as CFO, effective Oct. 1, succeeding Mandeep Chawla.
- Bitmine Immersion Technologies Inc (NYSE:BMNR) gained 8.2% to $26.20.
- Super Micro Computer Inc (NASDAQ:SMCI) rose 7.5% to $40.18.
