U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 250 points on Thursday.
Shares of Wealthfront Corp (NASDAQ:WLTH) rose sharply during Thursday’s session following better-than-expected second-quarter results.
Wealthfront reported quarterly earnings of 10 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 8 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $91.874 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $91.618 million.
Wealthfront shares surged 6.6% to $10.08 on Thursday.

- Orchestra Biomed Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:OBIO) shares surged 8.4% to $5.91. BTIG analyst Marie Thibault upgraded Orchestra BioMed from Neutral to Buy and announced a $10 price target.
- Clover Health Investments Corp (NASDAQ:CLOV) shares jumped 7.6% to $4.67.
- AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ:AVAV) surged 7.2% to $150.96 following upbeat quarterly earnings.
- Vogenx, Inc. (NASDAQ:VOGX) gained 6.6% to $31.76.
- Priority Technology Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:PRTH) shares jumped 6.4% to $5.77.
- Pulse Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:PLSE) gained 6.1% to $56.18. Freedom Capital Markets, on Wednesday, initiated coverage on the stock with a Buy rating and announced a $73 price target.
- Molina Healthcare Inc (NYSE:MOH) gained 6.1% to $206.03. Molina Healthcare announced it will issue its earnings release for the third quarter, after the market closes on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
- Ubiquiti Inc (NYSE:UI) shares rose 5.8% to $550.55.
- Centene Corp (NYSE:CNC) shares gained 5.3% to $67.43.
- PayPay Corp – ADR (NASDAQ:PAYP) rose 3.8% to $18.25.
