Clearmind Secures 51% Stake in Charging Robotics for $4M Total Commitment
According to a Friday morning announcement, Vancouver-based Clearmind entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 51% controlling stake in Charging Robotics for an aggregate purchase price of $2.5 million.
As a condition of the agreement, Clearmind will also extend a $1.5 million loan to Charging Robotics bearing an interest rate of 4% per annum. The loan principal and accrued interest mature three years after closing, with an automatic extension if Charging Robotics has not generated sufficient positive cash flow from operations and financing to repay the debt. The transaction is expected to close during the week of Sept. 7, subject to customary closing conditions.

Charging Robotics develops proprietary wireless charging technology delivering up to 10 kW of continuous power designed specifically for automated parking facilities, autonomous mobile platforms and robotaxis where physical plug-in infrastructure is impractical.
