Cerebras Systems Stock Climbs Wednesday: What’s Going On?

Shares of Cerebras Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CBRS) are rebounding Wednesday morning, recovering Tuesday’s losses as traders weigh new international data center momentum. Here’s what investors need to know.

Investors Weigh European Data Center Expansion

Strength in the stock is potentially being bolstered by a Tuesday announcement detailing a partnership with Compute Nordic Finland to construct a new 165-megawatt AI data center in Mikkeli, Finland.

The project not only accelerates Cerebras’ European footprint but also serves as a high-profile strategic showcase for its wafer-scale engine architecture as demand for sovereign European AI infrastructure continues to scale.

Q2 Core Revenue Surge Driven By Cloud Segment Acceleration

The European expansion reinforces top-line momentum. Cerebras reported second-quarter results last month, which featured a 74.3% year-over-year surge in core revenue to $209.9 million, fueled by a 287% expansion in its cloud segment to $127.7 million.

During the call, co-founder and CEO Andrew Feldman emphasized that “demand for fast inference is enormous,” noting that high-speed processing opens entirely new markets as the company scales data center and manufacturing infrastructure alongside key partners like OpenAI, AWS and AMD.

Chief Financial Officer Bob Komin added that performance beat expectations across all core operational metrics, allowing management to raise full-year 2026 core revenue guidance to between $880 million and $890 million while reiterating targets to more than triple revenue in 2027 backed by $25.4 billion in remaining performance obligations.
