Nano Labs Stock Falls Friday as Market Digests H1 Net Loss, AI Pivot

Shares of Nano Labs Ltd. (NASDAQ:NA) are trading lower Friday morning after the company’s first-half 2026 financial release, where investors are weighing a widened net loss alongside management’s active pivot toward AI hardware integration and crypto treasury management.

Crypto Valuation Impairment Widens H1 Net Loss

Nano Labs’ unaudited financial results for the six months ended June 30 were released Friday morning. Net revenue declined 66.4% year-over-year to RMB 2.8 million ($407.93 thousand USD), down from RMB 8.3 million in H1 2025, primarily due to lower sales volumes of its iPollo V Series products.

Net loss widened significantly to RMB 316.7 million ($46.5 million USD), or $2.00 per share, compared to a net loss of RMB 11.8 million in the prior-year period. The expanded net loss was predominantly driven by a RMB 250.5 million ($36.8 million USD) fair-value loss on its cryptocurrency holdings due to BNB price volatility across the first half of the year, compared to a fair-value gain of RMB 48.6 million in H1 2025.

AI Hardware Pivot, BNB Treasury Reserve and Share Buybacks

Despite top-line headwinds, positive sentiment is supported by strategic progress across the company’s computing and Web3 operations.

Nano Labs highlighted the rollout of its iPollo ClawPC A1 Mini, designed to support the OpenClaw AI Agent system, as part of its broader push into localized AI hardware, operating systems, and computing infrastructure.

On the capital allocation front, management reaffirmed its digital asset reserve strategy with a long-term holding of 70,000 BNB, while confirming it completed $3.2 million in Class A ordinary share repurchases under its ongoing share buyback program as of Aug. 26.
