Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock has been one of the top-performing companies by return over the last 5, 10, 15, and 20 years. Heading into second-quarter financial results Wednesday, members of Congress who regularly trade stocks seem to be mixed on what to expect.
Congress Trading Nvidia Stock
The Benzinga Government Trades page tracks Nvidia stock buying and selling over various time periods.
So far in 2026, there have been 17 buy orders and 23 sell orders from members of Congress. This could signal that members of Congress are more likely to take profits this year and to see slower growth from Nvidia going forward.
The majority of the transactions in Nvidia stock in 2026 are in the $1,000 to $15,000 range.
Here are the largest buy orders of Nvidia stock by members of Congress in 2026:
- $50,000 to $100,000: one time
- $250,000 to $500,000: one time
Here are the largest sell orders of Nvidia stock by members of Congress in 2026:

- $50,000 to $100,000: one time
- $100,000 to $250,000: two times
So not only are there more Nvidia sales this year, but there are also more sales of the larger transaction range.
Looking at the most recent transactions for May, June, and July, there were nine sales and five purchases. The sales ranged from $235,000 to $675,000, with the buys ranging from $5,000 to $75,000.
Recent transactions show much more conviction in selling than buying.
