Bloom Energy Stock Climbs Tuesday: What’s Happening?

Shares of Bloom Energy Corp. (NYSE:BE) are trading higher Tuesday morning. Driving the buying momentum are congressional financial disclosures made public Monday morning, which revealed that U.S. Representative Nancy Pelosi established a major new position in the clean energy provider.

The filing showed purchases made in late July consisting of 15,000 common shares alongside 200 call options with a $100 strike price expiring in June 2027.

AI Data Center Demand Powering Record Revenue Expansion

The high-profile endorsement reinforces strong fundamental momentum following Bloom Energy’s second-quarter earnings results in late July.

The company reported record quarterly revenue that crossed $1 billion for the first time, up 165.5% year-over-year, driven by surging demand for its solid-oxide fuel cell systems to power AI data center buildouts. Management subsequently raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $3.9 billion to $4.2 billion.

Underscoring the shift toward rapid on-site power generation, Founder, Chairman and CEO KR Sridhar noted during the earnings call that customer adoption has hit an inflection point. “The demand for Bloom Energy’s solutions keeps accelerating every quarter as customers who traditionally defaulted to combustion technologies are now proactively choosing Bloom as a superior power solution,” Sridhar said, emphasizing that hyperscalers and AI labs are turning to Bloom to bypass utility grid delays.

Adding to Sridhar’s bullish operational outlook, Chief Financial Officer Simon Edwards highlighted the quarter’s financial execution. Edwards noted that the period marked the “strongest quarter in Bloom’s history,” pointing to strong operating leverage as top-line revenue scaled significantly faster than operating expenses.
