Aurora Mobile Limited (NASDAQ:JG) shares climbed on Friday after the company announced a three-year strategic partnership with Exabytes, even as major U.S. indexes traded mostly flat.
Exabytes AI Partnership Expands
Aurora Mobile signed a three-year memorandum of understanding with Exabytes. The agreement explores integrating GPTBots.ai and EngageLab across Exabytes’ business network in Southeast Asia.
The companies plan to develop localized AI customer service tools for small and medium-sized businesses. They also aim to build private hybrid AI infrastructure for large enterprises and government bodies.
The agreement, signed Aug. 13 at the Exabytes GROW AI Summit 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, supports Exabytes’ goal of empowering one million businesses with AI by 2030.
Partnership Combines AI And Cloud Capabilities
The partnership will combine Exabytes’ cloud infrastructure and localized managed services with Aurora Mobile’s AI capabilities. Aurora Mobile will contribute AI workflow automation and omnichannel engagement tools.
Aurora Mobile said its technology supports multilingual AI agents, sentiment analysis, cross-conversation memory and integrations with ERP and CRM systems.
“Businesses in Southeast Asia need more than a chatbot — they need AI that can act within their existing systems,” Aurora Mobile Chairman and CEO Weidong Luo said.
“This partnership brings together Exabytes’ regional reach with our agentic AI capabilities to bridge the gap between AI ambition and execution.”
How Aurora Mobile Generates Revenue Through Developer Services
Aurora Mobile provides developer services, including push notification tools, to mobile app developers in mainland China and generates revenue from its SaaS businesses.
Its platform also processes large volumes of anonymous device-level behavioral data, supporting its expansion into AI customer engagement tools that connect with CRM and ERP systems to automate customer interactions.
JG Stock Price Activity: Aurora Mobile shares were up 9.05% at $5.72 on Friday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
