Velo3D Q2 Earnings: Revenue Jumps 52%, Increased Guidance, Shares Surge

Velo3D Inc (NASDAQ:VELO) posted financial results for the second quarter after the market close on Tuesday. Here’s a rundown of the additive manufacturing company’s report.

Velo3D Quarterly Earnings Highlights

Velo3D reported second-quarter revenue of $20.66 million, beating analyst estimates of $13.52 million, according to Benzinga Pro. The company posted a second-quarter adjusted loss of 30 cents per share, beating analyst estimates for a loss of 31 cents per share.

Total revenue was up 52.3% year-over-year as 3D Printer and Parts revenue grew 57% year-over-year, driven by an increase in average selling price, product mix and rapid production solutions revenues related to an increase in production volume.

“The strength of our results reflects the increasing demand for our advanced metal additive manufacturing solutions, the successful execution of our commercial strategy and our team’s relentless focus on operational excellence,” said Arun Jeldi, CEO of Velo3D.

“During the quarter, we expanded strategic customer relationships, advanced new partnerships and continued building momentum across the aerospace, defense, energy and space markets, positioning Velo3D for continued growth.”

Velo3D reported $29 million in new bookings in the second quarter and ended the period with a backlog of $31 million. The company said it had $91.1 million in cash and cash equivalents as of June 30.

Velo3D raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance from a range of $60 million to $70 million to a new range of $65 million to $75 million, versus estimates of $64.16 million. The company also guided for positive EBITDA in the second half of 2026.

Velo3d also highlighted the launch of its Livermore Production Campus in the second quarter and said the new facility is expected to triple the company’s manufacturing capacity.

Velo3D executives will further discuss the quarter on an earnings call scheduled to start at 5 p.m. ET.

VELO Shares Rise After The Bell

Velo3D shares were up 17.60% in after-hours Tuesday, trading at $16.10 at the time of publication, according to Benzinga Pro.
