U.S. stock futures were lower this morning, with the Nasdaq 100 futures falling more than 2% on Tuesday.
Shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (NYSE:TSM) fell sharply in pre-market trading as semiconductor stocks came under pressure amid a broad risk-off move in U.S. index futures.
TSM’s decline tracked weakness across the semiconductor sector as investors reduced exposure to growth stocks ahead of the market open.
Taiwan Semiconductor shares dipped 4.3% to $447.44 in pre-market trading.

- Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Ltd (NASDAQ:AOSL) declined 9.9% to $44.50 in pre-market trading.
- Posco Holdings Inc (NYSE:PKX) fell 9.8% to $52.14 in pre-market trading after dipping 5% on Monday.
- FormFactor Inc (NASDAQ:FORM) shares dipped 9.6% to $141.52 in pre-market trading after gaining 5% on Monday.
- Tower Semiconductor Ltd (NASDAQ:TSEM) fell 9% to $288.37 in pre-market trading after jumping over 10% on Monday.
- Allegro MicroSystems Inc (NASDAQ:ALGM) declined 9% to $56.03 in pre-market trading after gaining 4% on Monday.

- Silicon Motion Technology Corp. (NASDAQ:SIMO) declined 8.3% to $309.00 in pre-market trading. Silicon Motion Technology shares gained 5% on Monday after Wedbush maintained its Outperform rating and raised its price target on the stock from $230 to $400.
- STMicroelectronics NV (NYSE:STM) fell 8.1% to $73.42 in pre-market trading.
- Semtech Corp (NASDAQ:SMTC) declined 7.8% to $161.00 in pre-market trading. Semtech shares gained over 10% on Monday after TD Cowen maintained its Buy rating on the stock and raised its price target from $210 to $215.
- Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MU) fell 7.2% to $1,124.80 in pre-market trading after gaining 7% on Monday. Micron announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Anthropic that includes the supply of memory and storage products as well as participation in the AI company’s Series H financing round.
