SpaceX IPO Goes Hollywood: Rapper 2 Chainz, ‘The Apprentice’ Creator Mark Burnett Hold Shares

The highly anticipated SpaceX IPO could make Elon Musk the first trillionaire in the world thanks to his ownership stake in the space company. The offering could also help boost the wealth of others who invested in the space company early, including several entertainment figures.

Rapper 2 Chainz Highlights SpaceX Investors

Alongside the numerous ETFs and mutual funds that own stakes in SpaceX, rapper 2 Chainz is one of the investors in the space company.

In a March 2026 interview, the rapper shared how the investment came to be.

“I know some PE guys that, when it came across their desk, they would give me the opportunity,” 2 Chainz said, as reported by Afrotech. “With investments, I gambled … You know, the whole thing is you’re just trying to come up with some multiples. I got in with SpaceX very early.

2 Chainz confirmed the investment on the “Earn Your Leisure” podcast with podcast co-host Troy Millings, who guessed that the rapper couldn’t wait for a future IPO.

Along with investing in SpaceX, 2 Chainz is also an investor in AI company Anthropic, which could be another highly anticipated 2026 IPO.

Mark Burnett, Hollywood Executives Also Own Shares

Best known as the creator of “The Apprentice” and the man behind “Survivor” and “Shark Tank” in the U.S., Mark Burnett is one of the biggest figures in television production.

A report from PageSix says Burnett invested in SpaceX early and stands to benefit from the IPO on Friday.

Other Hollywood figures listed by PageSix that own stakes in SpaceX are:

  • Michael Kives: partner, K5 Global; former talent agent
  • Ari Emanuel: CEO, WME Group
  • Bryan Lourd: CEO, CAA

Lourd is said to have a smaller stake than the others with K5 Global having a stake that could be worth billions of dollars based on the latest SpaceX valuation.

WME Group and CAA are two of the biggest talent agencies in the world.

The SpaceX IPO is set to make millionaires and billionaires among SpaceX employees, early investors and more. Some of the figures above are already millionaires and set to increase their net worth even more by getting into the space company led by Elon Musk early.

SpaceX will be added to the Nasdaq with the SPCX ticker.
